Fire Cupping
Fire cupping can be a wonderful tool to help stiff and sore muscles relax. Cupping has a long history of 3,000–5,000 years, appearing early in Egyptian, Middle Eastern, and Asian cultures. Traditionally, practitioners used bamboo or even animal horns to create suction with fire to improve circulation and decrease pain and muscle stiffness. Cupping is most commonly used for back pain and is safe and painless, but can leave "bruises" on the skin for several days or up to a week. We recommend following the same guidelines you would after massage therapy (rest, hydration, no overuse of muscles treated for 24 hours.)
